Play
At our six free adventure playgrounds across the city a whole world of adventure awaits. Each site has a variety of facilities and play activities to enjoy. The only limit is their imagination.

Youth
Our five Youth Clubs hold a ton of fun for all 11-19 year olds, from pool, football, cookery and crafts, to day trips, sports and special events. Our Youth Clubs provide a safe space for young people to express themselves, make friends and socialise.

Community
No matter your age there’s something for everyone at our community venues across Portsmouth and beyond. Whether you’re looking to learn a new skill, enhance your cooking, start a new hobby or just meet new people, there’s so much on offer for people of all ages.
ADDITIONAL PROJECTS AND ACTIVITIES

We never tire of looking for opportunities to add more to our standard programme. Through working in partnership with all sectors and building community links we find ways to add to our offer. Do contact us with any ideas for activities you would like to see in your area and we can explore whether we can make it happen.
Take a look at the activities tab to meet our Project and Partnership Leads within Play and Youth and find out what we are up to – you’ll find information on additional free youth activities funded by Portsmouth City Council; find details of our current added offer and well-being projects; learn about our OPCC funded detached youth work who are out and about supporting young people, their communities and more.
Use the HAF tab to discover what’s on offer through HAF Fun Pompey – we are delighted to continue the delivery of the Holiday Activities and Food (HAF) programme during the Easter, Summer and Christmas 2023 school holidays. Funded by the Department for Education, we can provide free holiday provision, including nutritious food and enriching activities, for children aged 5-16 who are eligible for benefits-related free school meals. There are some paid for spaces available also.
You can use the calendar below to see just some of the activities running at our community centres – though there’s plenty more on offer, there’s just too much to list!
