Our SEND youth group at the Charles Dickens Activity Centre offers its services to young people with a learning difficulty or disability for ages 11 – 25 years of age. Run on Wednesday and Thursday evening, the SEND Youth Group is a drop in youth club where we provide a fun, but also safe environment for all young people.
Our experienced staff are here to advise and offer any support we can to young people that attend, offering a home from home environment for young people to relax and have fun!

We were recently inspected by Dynamite Young Inspectors, a young people’s group for those aged 14-25 with a disability in Portsmouth. Dynamite’s job is to make sure that young people with a disability or special educational need have a say in how services for young people are run in the city. read the report here: Dynamite Report
